DRAPE THE TREE

Draping the tree limbs is a key part of safely transporting a Christmas tree. You don’t want them hitting other cars on the way, or getting caught in the wind and coming off the tree. To do this, use rope or twine to loosely tie the limbs to the tree. Make sure not to tie them too tightly, as this could damage the tree.

CORD LOCK

A cord lock is another essential piece of equipment for safely transporting a Christmas tree. It will keep the cords from slipping and help keep your tree in place. You can buy a cord lock at any hardware store.

SECURE THE TREE

Finally, use straps to secure the tree to your car. This will prevent it from moving around and becoming loose. Make sure the straps are tight, but not so tight that they damage the tree or car.
